Một số công thức Ngữ pháp tiếng anh giao tiếp dành cho các bạn cần ôn luyện THPT.
1. S + V +too + adj/adv + (for someone) + to do sth.
Nghĩa là: ...quá...không thể làm gì
VD: The lake is too dirty for us to swim in.
He ran too fast for me to follow.
2. S + V + so + adj/adv + that + S + V...
Ngĩa là: ...quá...đến nỗi...
VD: She is so beautyful that he can't take his eyes off her.
3. S + V + such + (a/an) + (adj) + N + that +S + V...
Nghĩa là: ...quá...đến nỗi
VD: My teacher is such a nice person that everyone respects her.
4. S + V + adj/adv + enough + (for someone) + to do sth.
Nghĩa là: ...đủ...để làm gì.
VD: She is not old enough to drive a motorbike.
5. S + have/get + sth + done(VpII) + (by sb)
Nghĩa là: ...nhờ/thuê ai đó làm gì.
VD: I had/got my hair cut by my father last night.
6. It + be + time + S + V-ed/cột 2
= It + be + time + for someone + to do sth.
Nghĩa là: Đã đến lúc để ai đó làm gì.
VD: It's time you studied Math. = It's time for you to study Math.
7. It + take + someone + một khoảng thời gian + to do sth.
Nghĩa là: Mất bao nhiêu thời gian để làm gì.
VD: It takes me 30 minutes to go to school everyday.
8. To prevent/stop sb from doing sth.
Nghĩa là: Ngăn chặn ai đó không cho làm gì.
VD: I can't stop him from drinking too much wine.
9. S + find + it + adj + to do sth.
Nghĩa là: Thấy...để làm gì...
VD: I found it hard to study English.
10. To prefer + N/V-ing + to + N/V-ing.
VD: I prefer staying home to going out.
11. S + started/began + to V/V-ing + time + ago.
= S + have/has + V-ed/P(II) + ... + since/for + time.
VD: I started learned English for 3 years ago.
= I have learned English for 3 years.
12. When + did + S + V(nguyên thể)...?
= How long ago + did + S + V(nguyên thể)...?
= How long + have/has + S + V-ed/P(II)...?
= How long is it since +S + V-ed/Irregular verbs...?
VD: When did you work in that factory?
= How long ago did you work in that factory?
= How long have you worked in that factory?
= How long is it since you worked in that factory?
13. S + haven't/hasn't + V-ed/P(II) before.
= It is the first time + S + have/has + P(II)...
VD: She hasn't eaten this kind of food before.
= It is the first time she has eaten thi kind of food.
14. S + haven't/hasn't + V-ed/P(II) +...+ for/since + time.
= S + last + V-ed/Irregular verbs +...+ time ago.
= It's time + since + S + (last) + V-ed/Irregular verbs +...+ was + time + ago.
VD: I haven't visited my grandfather for 3 months.
= I last visited my grandfather 3 months ago.
= It's 3 months since I last visited my grandfather.
= The last time I visited my grandfather was 3 months ago.
15. Although/Though?even though + S + V, S + V...
= Despite/In spite of + N/V-ing, S + V...
= Despite/In spite of the fact that +S + V, S + V...
VD: Although it rained, she still went to work yesterday.
= Despite the rain, she still went to work yesterday.
= Despite the fact that it rained, she still went to work yesterday.
