If I run year-round, I prefer versatile footwear that can handle several conditions. For specialized environments, however, having different shoes for different seasons may make more sense.

The important thing is to avoid assuming that one trail will always provide the same surface.

Comfort Still Comes First

Technical features are useful, but comfort remains one of my biggest priorities.
