SGD is a compact abbreviation whose educational meaning needs context. I would first want to know what it identifies and which questions a reader is meant to explore. That is how I approach SGD education information. I appreciate clear scope and labels that explain why a section may be useful. Once the purpose is understandable, the initials can become a convenient reference rather than a source of uncertainty. A short name works best when the information around it does the explaining.
